set up the maximum torque. The higher
the number on the setting ring, the higher
the selected torque will be.
2. When starting to work, set the torque to a
low value. When the set torque is
reached, the clutch is released and the
work piece can not be damaged.
3. When the torque setting ring is set to the
drill symbol, the clutch is locked and can
not slip.
SETTING UP THE GEAR
1. This cordless drill is equipped with a two
gear transmission. With the gear switch
(2) on top of the machine you can change
between both gears.
2. Use the high speed (drill symbol) for
drilling and the lower speed (screw
symbol) for driving screws.
Note!
Only operate the gear switch when the
motor has halted completely.
DRILLING
• Set the gear switch (2) to the drilling
symbol.
• At the start of drilling select a lower
speed to avoid the drill bit slipping away
from the desired hole location.
• If the drill-hole is deep, the drill-bit may
become jammed in the hole. In this case
a high torque could damage the drill bit or
the drill. If the bit becomes jammed, hold
the machine firmly and immediately
release the ON/OFF trigger. Switch to
counter clockwise rotation and use a low

• Green + red LEDs: The battery is
charged completely.
Note:
During the charging process the
charging state key is non-functional.
TURNING ON AND OFF
1. To turn the unit on, press the ON/OFF
trigger (5). To turn off the cordless drill,
release the trigger.
2. The ON/OFF trigger is also used to
control the rotation speed. The deeper
the trigger is pressed, the faster the unit
runs. When the machine is turned on, the
LED work light (6) shines.
3. By pressing the rotating direction button
(11) the rotating direction can be
reversed. In the middle position the ON/
OFF trigger is locked. Set the switch in
this position when laying down the
machine to avoid an accidental start-up.
4. The rotating direction button can only be
pressed, while the ON/OFF trigger is
released.
INSERTING THE DRILL OR SCREW BITS
Please note!
Before changing drill bit and
screw bit, set the rotating direction button (11)
into the middle position to avoid unintentional
start-up. The cordless drill has a keyless quick
drill chuck (4) so you do not need a key to
lock the tool bit in place. Make sure that the
drill or screw bit is not jammed when you
insert the tool and tighten the chuck.
1. Hold the inner ring of the chuck (4) and
open the chuck by turning the outer ring
counter clockwise until you can insert the
tool.
2. Insert the drill/screw bit all the way in.
3. Turn the outer ring of the chuck clockwise
hand tight. This will automatically lock the
drill chuck.
