11. Cleaning and care
Under no circumstances use aggressive cleanings agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions
since these can penetrate the housing or impair functionality.
Do not use any sharp, pointed or rough objects for cleaning the product.
• Disconnect the product from the mains supply before cleaning.
• Before cleaning, let the product cool down at a safe location that is out of reach of children.
• Do not immerse the base unit (6) in water or other liquids.
• Wipe the surface of the base unit with a damp cloth.
• Descaling: In case of heavy scale deposit on the hob, pour a solution of approx. 1 part of household vinegar and
10 parts of water onto the hob. Measure the solution using the measuring cup, in order not to pour too much liquid
onto the hob. Let the solution sit for approx. 30 minutes and then pour it away. Wipe the hob with a damp cloth.
• Rinse the lid (1), the egg tray (7) and the measuring cup (8) with lukewarm water. If necessary, use a mild detergent.
• Let all parts dry completely.
12. Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste. At the end of
its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable regulatory guidelines.
