Volume objects
Controlling the volume of video and audio sources can be done using following methods:
•
Using a 4-bit communications object (preferred)
•
Using two 1-bit communication object for volume up and volume down.
AUDIO on/off feedback object
This object controls the feedback led on the Beolink IR Eye. The led will light up when the system is
in standby. When enabled, the led will go off.
Standby object
A short press on the standby button will switch the selected device in standby mode. A long press
will enable the standby for all devices controlled by the Beo remote (if enabled in general section).

Description
VIDEO standby mode
Only off: when you press the standby button on your remote, a
‘0’ will be sent to the VIDEO standby object (obj. 40).
On and off: when you press the standby button on your remote,
a ‘0’ will be sent to the VIDEO standby object (obj. 40), but
when you press a function button (TV, DTV, DVD…), a ‘1’ will be
sent to the VIDEO standby object (obj. 40).
Use TV
When enabled, pressing the TV-button on the remote will send
the source number below to the VIDEO source number object
(obj. 6).
