Place and name the food to reduce the door opening and long search. Remove as
many products as required at the same time, and close the door as fast as possible.
Do not cover the shelf with aluminium foil, wax paper or paper towel, the air
circulation is discrupted and cooling capacity is lower.
In the event of an
unexpected power outage,
do not open the door, if possible, to
avoid cooling air loss. Most power outages are dealt with within a few hours and they
should not have an impact on the device temperature, if door opening is kept to a
minimum or avoided. If the power outage lasts for longer necessary actions should
be taken to protect the stored food from perishing, e.g. to store it temporarily in
another device or cook and eat it in the short time.
Following the event of a power outage or unplugging, do not connect the freezer to
the power supply for at least 5 minutes.
When the device is not in use
for less than 3 weeks, do not switch off the device.
When the device is not going to be used for several months, disconnect the device
from the power supply (unplug!) and remove all the products. Clean the device
thoroughtly and dry the interior chamber of the device. To avoid unpleasant odour
and mould formation, leave the door slightly open.
When transporting the device or moving it elsewhere, follow the instructions below:
-
Disconnect the device from the power supply;
-
Remove all food products;
-
Affix all the lose parts in the device;
-
Seal the door with use of adhesive tape;
-
Make sure that the device stands straight when transported.
