6.3 Safety instructions for maintenance

Check the mains lead from time to time to ensure it isn’t damaged in any way. Never use the
device if the lead is damaged. If the lead is damaged it must be replaced by a qualified
electrician.

In case of damage or malfunction, please contact your stockist or our customer service centre.
o
Only a qualified technician and using original spare parts and accessories should carry out
repairs and maintenance of the device. Do not attempt to repair the device yourself.
7. Troubleshooting
CAUTION!
The device is provided with an overheating protection.
When the overheating protection has been activated, let
the device cool down, remove the socket and push the
RESET button underneath the device several times.
The coffee maker is now ready for use again.
NOTE!
From experience, it can be said that the overheating protection is triggered when the
heating bore is calcified. An immediate decalcification is mandatory.
The overheating protection may also be activated during/by transport. Please follow the
instructions above!

troubleshooting.
