Cleaning of Metal Filter:
Metal filter:
After a prolonged use, the left-overs of the ground coffee may
remain on the metal filter of the brewing unit. They should be
removed regularly.
If these left-overs are not removed on time, this may lead to build
up of too high a pressure.
Cleaning of metal filter:
Step 1:
Switch the appliance off entirely and disconnect it
from mains power.
Step 2:
Remove the drip tray from the appliance.
The metal filter is located in the place indicated.
Step 3:
Clean the metal filter with a cloth, reaching
carefully with your hand through the front opening
(see figure).
Step 4:
When the filter is clean, you may reinsert the drip
tray and switch the appliance back on.
Note:
We recommend to conduct this process together
with the remaining cleaning steps, to provide for
complex cleaning.
