Operation 

 

 

Indications and Tips 

•  Do not use the appliance in bright light, as it deteriorates its efficiency. 
•  Before switching on other sources of light in a room, first switch the insect trap 

for 10

–20 minutes. 

•  We recommend using it for 24 hours. Repeated switching the appliance on and 

off shortens the life of the fluorescent lamp.

Before Use 

1.  Before use, clean the appliance observing instructions in section 

6 'Cleaning'

2.  Then dry the appliance thoroughly. 

 

 

Appliance Connection 

1.  Plug the appliance into a suitable single socket. 

The appliance is equipped with 1 UV-A fluorescent lamps, with output of 20 W. 
When the plug is inserted in the socket, it lights up blue. 

 

  HAZARD! 

Electric shock hazard! 

Disconnect the appliance from the power supply (pull the plug out) and 
wait for it to cool down before you start replacing the fluorescent lamp and 
adhesive film. 

 

UV-A Fluorescent Lamp Replacement 

When the fluorescent lamp of the insect trap is damaged, it may be easily replaced 
with a new UV-A fluorescent lamp (

Bartscher art. No. 300328

).  

 
When replacing, follow the instructions: 

–  remove the lampshade, to get access to the fluorescent lamp; 
–  screw the fluorescent lamp for replacement out and remove it from the 

fitting; 

–  put the new UV-A fluorescent lamp (Bartscher art. No. 300328) in the 

fitting; 

–  hang the lampshade anew on the holder with the lamp fitting;
