Defrosting

Automatic defrost

The device defrosts automatically 4 times within 24 hours. The time switch turns on at the
moment of start-up.

If you want to realize the automatic defrost cycles at other times, press the button

for

more than 6 seconds. The device will initiate an automatic defrost cycle immediately and
the next defrost will take place after 6 hours.

Manual defrost

Besides the automatic defrost function, a manual defrost can be activated: hold the button

for more than 6 seconds. The manual defrost will start.

User instructions

To reduce the losses in cooling process, the opening times of glass sliding doors

should be kept as short as possible. Also, these should not be opened too often.

Do not cover the ventilation openings of the counter. The air must be able to

circulate freely in order to ensure the adequate cooling efficiency.

There must be a sufficient distance between the stored food portions. Too little

distance will affect the cooling effect.

Allow hot foods to cool down to room temperature before storage.

In case of sudden power failure, the sliding glass doors should not be opened to

avoid the loss of cooled air.

After power failure or unplugging the device, connect it to power supply for at

least 5 min.

Switching off the device

If the device is not in use anymore, turn it off by ON-/OFF toggle switch moving it into

position "0". Disconnect the device from the power supply (Pull the plug!).
