5.2 Installation and connection 

 

  CAUTION! 

The installation and maintenance of the appliance should only be carried out  by 
trained personnel! 
 

  Discard the complete packing material after unpacking the device. 

  Remove the protective foil from the appliance. Ensure that it has been completely 

removed.   

  Place the device on top of an even and safe surface which supports the weight of 

the device and is not heat sensitive. 

  Not at any time should you place the device on an inflammable surface (such as: 

table cloth, carpet, etc.). 

  You must not position the device near open fireplaces, electric ovens/arc furnaces, 

furnaces/electric heaters or other heat sources.  

NOTE!

 

This appliance is not suitable for built-in use nor for being set up in multiple in-
line series.  
 

  Place the appliance in well-ventilated rooms.  

  Keep a minimum safety distance of at least 20 cm to walls or other objects.     

  Arrange the appliance so that the power plug and control panel are easily accessible.  

  Do not place inflammable acidic or alkaline materials or cloths close to the appliance 

since this may reduce the operational life of the appliance and may involve the 
danger of deflagration.  

  The rear side of the appliance is fitted with an earthing pin.  Please connect the 

earthing cable to a copper wire ( minimum diameter 2 mm²) in accordance with the
