• Do not use any sharp or pointed, nor metal implements (knife, fork, etc.). Sharp
or pointed implements may damage the appliance, and when in contact with live
parts, they may cause electric shock.
• For cleaning, do not use any scouring agents that contain solvents nor corrosive
cleaning agents. They may damage the surface.
6.2
Cleaning
1. At the end of a working day clean the appliance thoroughly.
2. Remove the crumb tray from the appliance.
3. Empty the crumb tray.
4. Remove the cooking grill.
5. Clean the cooking grill and crumb drawer using a mild cleaning agent. Use a
soft cloth, sponge or dish-washing brush.
6. Thoroughly rinse the cleaned elements in fresh water.
7. Interior and exterior of the appliance should be cleaned with cleaning agents
that dissolve grease. Make sure that the cleaning agents used are food-grade.
Note: Follow the instructions of the cleaning agent’s manufacturer.
8. The washed surfaces should be thoroughly dried with a clean cloth.
9. Finally, dry all cleaned parts and surfaces with a soft cloth.

Check the appliance’s ventilation openings at regular intervals; in case they are
dirty, clean them and thus provide for air circulation in the appliance. Clean with
a dry, plastic dish-washing brush.
11. Reinsert the cooking grill and crumb tray.
