6.2 Cleaning and storage
Cleaning the device
o
Clean the device regularly.
o
Before cleaning, set the ON/OFF switch to the position "O" and remove the device's
plug from its socket.
o
Remove all elements of the device that come into contact with food (juice container
cover, anti-splatter cover, pressing head, pressing cone, sieve, juice container) and
wash them thoroughly under running water with a mild cleaning agent. A brush may
be used to clean the sieve. Rinse the elements in clean water, then leave out to dry.
Be sure to read the instruct-tions concerning disassembly and reassembly of the
device's elements in 5.3 "Use"/ Preparing the device.

Elements with hard-to-remove food remains should be left in warm water for a time.
This will make them easier to clean.
ATTENTION!
Only the pressing cone, sieve and juice container are dishwasher-safe.

Wash the motor housing and power cord only with a soft, moist cloth.
ATTENTION!
Never wash the motor housing in running water or the dishwasher.
o
Do not clean the device or its elements with disinfectants, bleaches or other
substances that may damage the device's surface. Do not use sharp objects to
clean the device.
o
Use only soft cloths for washing, drying and polishing the device.
Storage
o
If the device is to remain unused for a longer period, clean it thoroughly following the
instructions given above and store it in a clean, dry place away from frost and sunlight,
inaccessible to children.
o
Place the device on a stable surface to prevent it from falling over or tilting. Do not
place any heavy objects on the device and ensure that the juicing arm does not get
jammed.
