The use of imitation accessories or accessories from other manufacturers will render the
type of ignition protection ineffective and there will be a risk of fire or explosion.
3.3 Battery Safety
Danger!
- The battery may be charged and replaced only in areas known to be non-
hazardous and only by qualified personnel, who are authorised and have been
trained to assemble electrical components in hazardous (potentially explosive)
areas.
- For charging and communication, use only the BARTEC equipment specified in
the chapter 8.
- For operation, use only original batteries of the type 17-C1Z0-0010
and G7-C0Z0-0002 with 3.7 V/2650 mAh.
- The lithium-polymer battery assembly is not protected against mechanical
stress when outside the enclosure. Servicing and replacement of the battery
assembly must be done by a trained technician.
- Incorrect handling can cause the battery to become hot, burst or ignite and
cause serious injuries!
- The battery used in this device may present a risk of fire or explosion when
heated above 100 °C (212 °F) or incinerated.
- Do not disassemble the battery or throw it into a fire.
- Defective batteries must be disposed of immediately and in compliance with
the applicable regulations.
- Keep away from children!
