ETHERNET SETUP SCENARIOS - SCENARIO 3

SCENARIO 3 - Ethernet Adaptor/Switch/PC

This basic setup is comprised of a transceiver, Ethernet Adaptor, switch and a

computer. An Ethernet cable is connected to the adapter and the switch, and

another Ethernet cable between the switch and the computer as per the dia-

gram below.

For the connection between the Windows PC and the 4050 HF SDR Transceiver

to operate, both should have matching static IP addresses. The PC should

already be installed with the Barrett 4050 Remote Control app (P/N BCO40516),

Barrett 4050 HF SDR Programming Software (P/N USB40001) and Bonjour. For

instructions on installing this software, please refer to page 16.
