Noise Blanker Threshold

This menu item allows the predictive noise blanker to be switched on or off and

allows the selection of three threshold levels. The noise blanker is useful to reduce

the interference caused within vehicles with petrol engines.

Note:-

The noise blanker will not be effective in situations where external power line

noise etc is blanketing the receiver.

Use the

Scroll keys

to select the setting required (example

shown “Threshold Low”):-

press the

Note:-

In certain situations noise blankers can cause Intermodulation in receivers,

in these cases the noise blanker should be disabled.
