
Next, loosen the two adjuster nuts which
are locked together by holding the
bottom one fixed whilst rotating the top
one anti-clockwise. The top nut should
then come loose allowing both nuts to be
rotated.
Repeat this on both sides of the machine.
Loosen the top not by twisting it
anticlockwise, and moving it away
from the bottom adjuster nut.
Then twist the bottom adjuster nut
anti-clockwise. This should have the
effect of lowering the groomer.
If it does not, loosen the locking nut a
little more.
Rotate the lower adjusting nuts on both
sides of the groomer until the tips of the
groomer blades are just touching the
end of the setting bar adjuster bolt.
Rotate this nut clockwise to increase the
gap and anti-clockwise to reduce the
gap.
When the tips of the groomer blades
are just touching the adjuster bolt on
both sides then the groomer is correctly
set.
