The unit may only be installed
by qualified personnel. The lo-
cal installation regulations must
be adhered to during this proce-
dure. For OWAconstruct
®
sys-
tems or other suspended ceilings
the additional load of the unit
must be considered separately.
The mains supply must be dis-
connected before installation
and maintenance work is car-
ried out.
The unit contains electrostat-
ic-sensitive components. Mains
transients or voltage peaks can
damage the device. The unit must
be protected against damage
from grid-related overvoltage.
Damage caused by overvoltage
is excluded from the terms of the
guarantee. Air intakes and out-
lets must remain free of dust and
must not be covered.
The affixing of stickers or other
parts not authorised by BÄRO
is forbidden. Replacement parts
and additional parts must be
procured from or approved by
BÄRO. The lamp service life is
9000 h. The lamps must then be
replaced. If unsuitable lamps are
used, the effectiveness of the unit
may be lost and CE conformity
may be invalidated. Defective
units, units that do not work or
with flickering lamps must be
disconnected from the power
supply. In the event of malfunc-
