RS-232 and Printer
External output setup
SP-870 provides built-in analog output, RS-232C
and printer interfaces for external output of data.
Refer to factory settings.
1. When in memory setup mode, press PRINT
button and the display should show:
2. Press (2) to set up the interfaces. The display
should show:

3. Press (1) and ENTER to enter setup of RS-
232C. If RS-232C output is not required,
press (2) and ENTER to quit RS-232C setup
and proceed directly to step 7 for setup of
printer.

The baud rate is pre-set at 2400. Select from
the above list and press the number that
stands for the required baud rate and press
ENTER. The selected baud rate will show on
the display.
