5. ON SCREEN DISPLAY MESSAGES
General
An SLite tile can generate and display several “On Screen Display” (OSD) messages regarding parameter statuses of the tile. Most
of those messages can be displayed on request via the XLite toolset. Other OSD messages are automatically displayed in case an
error occurred. Those error messages are displayed in red. Most OSD messages are displayed for a time period of 10 seconds
or continuous, depending the XLite toolset settings. Some are displayed for a time period of 3 seconds and repeated after a time
interval of 25 seconds.

Displaying tile address. Note that all devices in the data chain has an address number, starting with the master
digitizer having address “1”. The address number increments for all following devices in the data chain.
Each digitizer, fiberlink transmitter, fiberlink receiver, AEC and all tiles in the data chain are considered as a
device with a unique address.
Address number of the tile can be displayed on request via the XLite toolset.
