6.1 Setup process of a suspended installation

A NX fi xed display is limited to a height of 50 NX fi xed tiles and the display surface has to obtain
a fl atness within a tolerance zone of 1 degree with a surface perpendicular to the reference surface (ceiling).
The truss beam and level system used in this chapter are pure illustrative. The customer is free to install his
own truss beam and level system according to his own wishes but answering to the mechanical requirements
mentioned in this installation manual. Contact Barco for more information on the illustrated systems.
This chapter explains how to install a suspended NX fi xed display and assumes the truss beam has been
installed and answers to the fl atness requirements, see chapter "2. Installation requirements", "Mechanical
requirements of a suspended installation", page 10
Necessary tools
Laser level.
Setup process
1. Assemble a row of fi ve (5) NX high precision frames and level them out using a laser level.
Caution: The used fi ve (5) tiles have to be the center tiles of the whole NX fi xed display.

2. Assemble four (4) tiles in the vertical direction as illustrated and level them out (horizontally — vertically) using a laser level.
