Remove the screws (8x) fixing the shipping bracket to the
unit
•
Remove the shipping bracket
•
Insert the screws back into their holes

Carefully read and follow all safety instructions as they
are stated in the Safety manual R59770580
•
Unpack the Auto Alignment Head

Fixing the unit to a support: Image B

Remove nuts and washers from the mounting studs (M6)
•
Install the Auto Alignment Head on a support: the
positioning pin and each stud should be inserted in a
dedicated slot
•
Fix the Auto Alignment Head to its support using the
washers and nuts
Connect the unit: Image C

Connect the power cord to both the Auto Alignment Head
and the wall outlet
2.
Stick warning label R870792 to one end of the SFTP Cat.
5e cable
3.
Next to this label, make a loop in the SFTP Cat. 5e cable
4.
Fix ferrite core B195382 on this loop
5.
Stick warning label R870792 to the other end of the SFTP
Cat. 5e cable
6.
Next to this label, make a loop in the SFTP Cat. 5e cable
7.
Fix the second ferrite core B195382 on this loop
8.
Plug in one end of the SFTP Cat. 5e cable on the Auto
Alignment Head
9.
Plug in the other end of the SFTP Cat. 5e cable on the LEX
USB extender
10. Plug in the LEX USB extender on the Master Control Unit
(MCU)
11. Connect the power cord to both the MCU and the wall
outlet
