Light Leakage KVD/IVD
Light leakage along the bezel is a typical, technology caused, phenomenon of LC Displays with very narrow bez-
el.
In order to provide best in class products to its customer BARCO has defined very strict limitation to the amount
of light leakage that can affect a BARCO product
By this the visual effect for the customer is limited or nil.
We only accept very minor light leakage as defined by the below limitations:
Standing 0.5 meter away from the panel and moving backward along a Z axis up to 1.5 meter, the Z axis must
be perpendicular to the panel and start from its centre.

Less than 10 mm of consecutive light visible on the bezel
•
Less than 3 pieces of light (total less than 10mm) from long side with every piece more than 50mm far from
the others
•
Less than 2 pieces of light (total less than 10mm) from short side

Light Leakage HVD
Related to new Bezel technology there is no Light Leakage as known before existing anymore.
But caused by the extreme narrow bezel it happens that light is reflected on the pcbs connected to the sides of
the LC. This can appear in a copper/brownish reflection.
Between these reflections a smaller bluish reflection can be visible.
These effects are not visible anymore from a distance of 3m from the panel at a point perpendicular to the cen-
ter of the panel.
