Error 7687 : “Blue front DMD temp low”
This is a warning. This warning can only appear on the FLM HD series.
Situation Solution
The temperature on the front side of
the DMD of the blue channel is low. If this warning persist, contact Barco for further instructions.
Error 7688 : “Green front DMD temp short”
This error may be preceded by a warning. This error can only appear on the FLM HD series.
Situation Solution
Damaged insulation of the wire
unit of the temperature sensor (ref
D image 3-17) which measures
the temperature at the front of
the DMD of the green channel.
When disconnecting the wire
unit (ref G/FR image 3-11) of
the temperature sensor from the
Formatter Interface Board (FIB) the
error code is changed to 7689 :
“Green front DMD temp open”.
• Repair the insulation of the wire unit using shrink sleeve.
• If not repairable, replace the light processor. Contact Barco for further instructions
to repair the malfunction light processor.
Defect temperature sensor which
measures the temperature at the
front of the DMD of the green
channel. Replace the light processor. Contact Barco for further instructions to repair the
malfunction light processor.

Situation Solution
Wire unit (ref G/FR image 3-11)
of the temperature sensor is
disconnected from the Formatter
Interface Board (FIB) Plug in the wire unit of the temperature sensor into its socket on the Formatter Interface
Board. See image 3-11.
