7.4 Visual checks
Perform the following visual checks:
•
No scratches on the panel surface or plastics?
•
No dust particles between the panel and the glass?
•
When you disconnect the signal cable, does the display go into
stand-by? (power LED turns orange)
•
Check the display quality by displaying some test patterns. A num-
ber of useful test patterns are bundled in the software tool Gray-
scale.exe.
