Peripherals

Score boards indicating efficiency or quality ratios as well as TV
monitors  bringing  comprehensive  messages  and  information
to the operators form an integral part of today’s WeaveMaster
system, improving communication within the mill.

The “CIM-Kiosk”, a TV monitor on the production floor, allows the
user to retrieve information from the system using a standard
browser environment. As such, operators and technicians are
constantly  informed  about  efficiencies,  job  status,  machines
needing assistance...

Link with the ERP system

KnitMaster is easily integrated in the customer’s ERP system.

Through  a  standard  interface,  order  and  style  data  is  trans-
ferred  from  the  ERP  system  and  imported  in  the  KnitMaster
database.
The  integrated  export  functionality  allows  a  straightforward
upload of information from KnitMaster to the customer’s ERP
system.
Typical  information  transferred  from  the  KnitMaster  system
includes work in progress, efficiency and quality data.
KnitMaster uses the standard TCP/IP protocol for setting up the
link with the host computer.

Connecting remote sites

KnitMaster supports the connection of multiple plants to one
central server.

In the remote site, an M-Server, connected to a leased telephone
line, links the machines to the central computer system.
