Lighting Your Grill by Match
1.To light your gas grill by match, open the hood and light
a match. Turn the left main burner control knob to the High
setting to release the gas while holding the lit match over
the lighting tube as shown in Figure 32 .
The burner should light within 5 seconds. If it fails to light,
turn the valve off and wait 5 minutes before attempting to
manually light the burner again.
Occasionally observe the burner flame for correct operation.
Once the left main burner is alight, the adjacent burner can
be turned on and it will cross light off the operating burner.
Repeat for each burner in turn.
WARNING
Never lean over the grill cooking area while lighting your gas
grill. Keep your face and body a safe distance (at least 18
inches) from the lighting hole or burners.

Keep grill area clear and free from combustible
materials, gasoline and other flammable vapors
and liquids.
Do not obstruct the flow of air for combustion
and ventilation.
Keep the ventilation openings of the tank enclosure
cabinet free and clear of debris.
After completing each burner lighting procedure,
visually check burner flame pattern as shown below.
Failure to comply with these instructions may
result in a hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, may result in injury.

2.To light Infrared burner by match, insert a match into the
Lighting stick and follow steps 1 through 3 of the Infrared
burner lighting instructions.then, light the match and place
