INSTALLATION
3.1 GENERAL
When fi tting one of these appliances local and/or national regulations relating to fi re
safety must be followed. In case of doubt, consult the fi re safety department of the local
fi re brigade, particularly if the fi re is to be fi tted in a home with walls and/or fl oors
containing fl ammable material.
The connection of several appliances to a single fl ue/chimney is not allowed.
• Check the function of the lift door
• Check the operation of
the combustion air supply slider
• Check the position of the retardant plates (brake plates)
• Check whether the convection holes Ø125 mm (2x or 4x) on the top side are open
• Check that the fan, once fi tted, is in working order
The fi re must be positioned on a concrete surface. If such a surface is not immediately
available, a pedestal must be built from the creeping space.
3.2
PLACING
3.2.1 Inbouw in een schouw
The appliance can be built in using brickwork or by means of fi re-resistant plates that
are screwed to a metal frame.
You can, if you like, erect a natural stone mantelpiece in front of this.

After installation it must be taken into account that the lift door
motor on the underside of the appliance must remain accessible
for any maintenance to the motor. This can be done e.g. by making
a door on the front of the fi replace at the location of the motor, so
that the motor can be reached.

Ensure that there is a clearence of 2 mm between the brick
work/fi reproof plate in connection with the appliance expanding
when hot.
