MEMORY FUNCTIONS
When a series is displayed or printed, standard deviation and mean value will
be included.
9.1 Creating a new series
Under the menu item Memory functions / New series , the name of a new
single measurement series can be defined with the text input function (see
4.4). After this is completed, the measuring window will open automatically and
the following readings are saved to this series.
The measurement parameter valid before the creation of the new measurement
series are taken. The measuring parameter cannot be changed, while a series
of measurements is taken.
The recording of the series is finished, if the measuring window is closed.
You will then be asked, if the hardness values should finally be saved to this
series.
9.2 Continuing a series
To append further data to a series, select the menu item Memory functions /
Continue series . The new data will be saved with the current time and date.
The parameter are automatically put to the settings of the selected series. If
applicable, the selected conversion standard (ISO or ASTM) is adapted.

While values are saved to a series, the SCALE and MAT keys are disabled
in the measuring window!
