1. No Encryption
Data transmitted over wireless networks can be seen by others.
2. WEP Open System
Wired Equivalent Privacy encryption with Open System authentication
Key: Enter a password for accessing this SSID‟s wireless network.
3. WPA-PSK
“WiFi Protected Access – Pre-Shared Key” encryption
Cipher: Specify the desired encryption protocol by clicking and
selecting an option from the drop-down list:
auto
– (default setting) the system automatically chooses the
optimal encryption protocol
Force CCMP (AES)
– Use CCMP (AES) encryption exclusively
(stronger than TKIP)
Force TKIP
– Use TKIP encryption exclusively
