MAINTENANCE
TRACK ADJUSTMENT
Proper track maintenance includes monitoring the tension of the rubber track. To check the tension, lift the
track off of the ground so the rubber can sag freely. See below picture. Tension is checked by measuring the
slack between the track rollers and the lowest sagging area of the track rubber. When correctly adjusted, the
slack should be between 1/2” - 5/8”.
1. Remove bolt keeper on tension bolt.
2. With a 1-5/8” socket, turn the tension bolt in or out to reach proper tension.
Before attempting any type of maintenance disengage clutch, turn off engine, wait for the cutter wheel to
come to a complete stop, install the cutter wheel lock pin, place the cutter wheel on the ground, disconnect
battery, and make sure the ignition key is in your possession.
