FIXING BURNER TO BOILER
The burner should be mounted on the boiler iron plate, where the
supplied stud bolts should already have been placed, respecting
the drill plate. It is advisable to electrically weld the bolts from the
internal part of the plate to avoid removing them together with the
fastening nuts if the burner needs to be disassembled. To insert the
insulating flange between the burner and the boiler plate, you have
to disassemble the end part of the combustion head. Suitable nuts
and washers are supplied to connect the burner to the boiler. The
burner is provided with cylindrical combustion head. We recommend
fixing first the boiler plate and then the burner. It is necessary to place
a protection made of isolating material with a minimum thickness
of 10 mm between plate and boiler when the boiler door is not
provided with thermal insulation. The boiler plate must be realised
according to our drawing to have a minimum thickness of 10 mm to
avoid deformation. Before connecting the burner to the boiler, place
the sliding flange in a position that allows the burned to penetrate
the combustion chamber as required by the boiler manufacturer.
After this operation, connect the burner to the gas pipe.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
It is advisable to make all connections with flexible electric wire.
The electric lines should be at an adequate distance from hot parts.
Make sure that the electric line to which the unit will be connected
has frequency and voltage ratings suitable for the burner as indicated
in the drawing.
Check that the main line, the relevant switch with fuses (essential)
and the current limiter (if required) are capable of withstanding the
maximum current absorbed by the burner.
For more details, see the relevant wiring diagrams for each single burner.
- Insert the telescopic support indicated in the figure in the hole
on the lower part of the burner scroll.
