ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
It is advisable to make all connections with flexible electric wire.
Conductor minimum section must be 1.5 mm².
• Electrical lines must be kept away from hot parts.
• The burner can be installed exclusively in environments with
pollution degree 2 as specified in Annex M of Standard EN
60335-1:2008-07.
• Make sure that the electric line to which the unit will be con-
nected has frequency and voltage ratings suitable for the bur-
ner.
• The three-phase or single-phase power supply line must have
a switch with fuses. The standards also require a switch on the
burner's power line located outside the boiler room where it can
be accessed easily.
• The main line, the relevant switch with fuses and the possible
limiter must be suitable to support the maximum current absor-
bed by the burner.
• The mains supply connection requires an omnipolar switch with
a contact opening gap equal to or greater than 3 mm in accor-
dance with current safety regulations.
• Refer to the wiring diagram for electrical connections (line and
thermostats).
• Unsheathe the external insulating cover of the power cable to
the necessary extent for the connection, thus avoiding the wire
from coming into contact with metal parts.
CAUTION / WARNING
Only professionally qualified personnel is allowed to open
the burner electrical panel.
DESCRIPTION OF OPERATION WITH
LIQUID FUEL
Burner operation is fully automatic; it starts up by enabling the
main switch and the control panel switch.
The “lock-out” position is a safety position that the burner auto-
matically assumes when a burner or system component is not
working properly.
Make sure that there are no faults in the heating plant before
re-activating the burner by "resetting it".
The burner may stay in the lock-out position without any time li-
mits.
Lock-outs may also be caused by temporary faults; in these cases
if it is reset, the burner will start up without any difficulties.
If lockings continue to occur (3-4 times), do not continue with the
operation and, after having checked that the fuel arrives to the
burner, ask the intervention of the After-sales Service in your area.
