Setting the switching distance
1. Install and align the sensor.
2. Position the object in the beam path.
3. Press the button for minimum 2 seconds or connect the
teach in wire for minimum 2 seconds to +U
B
. After
teaching over wire it must be connected back to
ground.
4. Remove the object. The yellow LED should go out. This
sets the switching distance.
Measuring accuracy
The sensor does not attain its full accuracy until operating
temperature is reached. This will take some time after
powering up. The warm-up time required depends on the
ambient conditions.
