Configuration
The value of the analog signal depends on the distance to
the object and the configuration of the analog output.
Setting the analog curve
This function can be used to adapt the analog curve to the
application.
1.
Mount and align the sensor.
2.
Defining the minimum value:
Position the object to the desired position in the beam
path. Press the MIN button for at least 3 seconds until
LED 1 flashes in yellow.
3.
Defining the maximum value:
Position the object to the desired position in the beam
path. Press the MAX button for at least 3 seconds until
LED 2 flashes in yellow.
Setting the switchpoints
The two switchpoints can be set separately. Both of the
switchpoints must lie within the working range.
1.
Mount and align the sensor.
2.
Define the switch-on points as follows:
Position the object to the desired position in the beam
path.
For switching output 1, press the Q1 button until LED 1
flashes in yellow.
For switching output 2, press the Q2 button until LED 2
flashes in yellow.
Restore factory settings for the meusring range:
►
Press the MIN + MAX buttons at the same time until
LED 3 flashes in green.
Restoring the factory settings for the switchpoints:
►
Switchpoint 1: Press the MAX + Q1 buttons at the
same time until LED 3 flashes in green.
►
Switchpoint 2: Press the MIN + Q2 buttons at the
same time until LED 3 flashes in green.
Background suppression mode
Background suppression allows objects within a set
switching distance to be detected without negative
influences from a reflective background and virtually
independent of the color and surface of the object
(object reflection).
