Draining fluids into the drain
The truck drain must have a port closing
device connected before use. If using optional
kit 4120-002, attach thread adapter to drain
outlet then the dry break coupler. Use sealant
to insure a leak- free connection.
1) Make sure the grill is in place before
use. This allows the user to drain filters and
prevents the loss of plugs and tools in the
drain.
2) Using the handle, position the drain under
the vehicle where the oil will be drained.
Once in place, position the handle out of
the traffic area. Failure to do so could
cause a tripping hazard.
Emptying fluids from the drain
Position the truck drain where it will be emp-
tied. Make sure you use an approved waste
container.
1) If using gravity to drain, remove drain plug
or open ball valve and allow the fluid to drain
into the waste container.
2) If using the optional evacuation kit 4140-015
and 1120-009 pump, couple the hose from
the pump to the coupler on the drain and start
the pump.
3) After emptying the drain, replace drain
plug or close ball valve. If evacuated with
pump, turn off pump and disconnect hose.

!
The Lowrider truck drain is designed to
hold up to 25 gallons of used oil before
draining the system. The level of oil should
never exceed the height of the grate.
Always be sure there is enough room in
the drain before additional oil is added. It
is recommended that the fluid is drained
frequently to avoid the risk of spilling and
emissions of waste materials and gases
from the fluids.
Hook-up of optional 4140-015 and 1120-009
for use with the truck drain for evacuation.
