Interlock Purge
The Bugbox Ax workstation has a 9.8 litre interlock that is used for transferring materials and
samples into and out of the workstation main chamber. The interlock can be purged of oxygen by
pressing the interlock purge button. This pre-conditions the interlock atmosphere to not affect the
internal workstation atmosphere.
To run an interlock purge first ensure that both the inner and outer door are closed.
Then press the interlock purge button which will begin a 30 second purge.
A countdown timer displays the remaining amount of seconds before completion.
Once the cycle is complete the outer door can be then be opened.
