Advantages of Fuel Injection
Increased power output per unit displacement.
Greater torque at low rpm.
Better cold start, warm-up and rapid
acceleration.
(There is no possibility that the intake manifold
is wet)Lower fuel consumption. Excellent
maneuverability ingeneral. Lower maintenance
costs.
Limitations of the Carburetion
Restricted air flow due to venturi design,
causeslosses of power (limited volumetric
efficiency).
As the intake manifold to combust the
mixturecontains, there is a risk of detonation
from the cylinder to the manifold. At a higher
altitude or in hot climates,there is the possibility
of vapor lock. After burning,sound in the muffler
in case of sudden deceleration. It does not
support sudden acceleration.
Difficulties in cold starting requires choke
(choke) toturn. Cold fuel wets the walls co l l ec t
or of admi if ng causing starting problems.
Inconsistency in fuel efficiency. The maintenance
costis reasonably higher. Higher emission levels.
