Manually Draining the Fresh and
Waste Water Tanks
(Both Autograph and Advance)
An inspection cap is positioned either on the
top of the tank to allow access to the drain plug.
To drain the waste water tank move your vehicle
to a waste water disposal point. Open the waste
water drain tap (positioned behind the rear
wheel on offside of the vehicle and allow the
water to drain.
The manual drain plug for the Advance fresh
water tank is accessed through the tank’s
inspection hole. Located in the top of the tank.
The plug is pulled from the bottom of the tank
to drain the water.
The manual drain tap for the Autograph can be
found behind the Whale watermaster pressure
pump on the underside of your vehicle. Open
the tap and allow the tank to drain.
NOTE: Manual draining should
always be undertaken when
winterising your vehicle to ensure a
full drain.
Breathers
Both tanks are fitted breather pipes. This allows
for air displacement when filling. When filling
the fresh water tank, water may escape through
these breather pipes - this should give no cause
for concern.
Baffles
For added stability and driving comfort the
water tanks in your vehicle are fitted with
baffles. These baffles stop the water from
flowing freely from side to side, creating uneven
weight distribution.
Frost Protection
If the vehicle is not being used during freezing
conditions the water must be drained.
Frost damage cannot be claimed
under warranty.
