Head Alignment The scale on the ram adapter for
head rotation is to be used as a guide only. Close
tolerance work will require the use of a dial indicator to
make sure the head is 90° to the table in the “X” axis.
Longitudinal & Cross Feed Adjustment If there is
excessive backlash in the leadscrew:
1. Loosen hex socket head screw (#27 on the
Leadscrew Assembly)
2. Turn feed screw nut (#26 or #29 on the Leadscrew
Assembly) to remove excess play.
3. Tighten hex socket head screw.
