Note: In general, use low speeds for tapping. By tapping at high RPM there is a
danger of damage to the piece part or the tooling. While tapping, the tool can be backed out at
any time by stopping the spindle rotation and changing the selector switch (G).
13. At the end of a drilling or tapping operation, press the stop button (
I
) to turn
OFF
the
machine.
In the event of incorrect operation or dangerous conditions, the machine can be stopped
immediately by pressing the
E-STOP
button (
H
). Twist the button clockwise (
cw
) to reset.
MATERIAL SELECTION
When selecting materials keep these instructions in mind:
•
Material must be clean and dry. (without oil)
•
Material should have a smooth surface so it processes easily.
•
Dimensional properties of material must be consistent and not exceed the machine capacity
values.
•
Chemical structure of material must be consistent.
•
Buy certificated steel from the same vendor when possible.
CAUTION:
It must be determined by the customer that materials being
processed through the machine are NOT potentially hazardous to operator or
personnel working nearby.
