OPERATION
The control panel on the filtration unit has a three-position rocker switch.
The Off position will turn the unit Off and disable the remote control.
The On position will override the remote control and power the filtration unit On at full speed.
The unit will run until the rocker switch is turned Off.
The RF position will activate the remote control and speed and run time will be controlled by the
remote.
When the air filtration unit is safely positioned on a stand or mounted to the ceiling, place the
rocker On/Off/RF switch on the control panel to the desire position. RF is typical.
Remote Control Operation
Note: The switch on the filtration unit may remain in the RF position for normal
daily operation. It is advised to turn the rocker switch Off during extended period of nonuse such
as vacations.
The remote control has four control buttons: ON (Hour/Speed), OFF,
SPEED/HOUR
– (minus), SPEED/HOUR + (plus).
There are also 3 Speed LED’s and 5 Hour LED’s.
1. Press the On button to activate the unit. The filter will power On in at
Low speed with infinite running time. The remote will be in Speed
mode as well.
2. Press the Speed/Hour + (Plus) button to increase (or minus button to
decrease) the blower speed.
3. Press the On button a second time to enter the Hour mode.
4. Press the Speed/Hour + (Plus) button to increase (or minus button to
decrease) the time setting to the hours desired. The choices are
Infinite (On until the operator turns the unit off), 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours.
5. At any time when desired, press the Off button to stop the filter.
Note: The
remote requires two (2) AAA batteries. The
Battery housing is located underneath the back cover.
