SAW BLADE CHANGING AND ALIGNMENT
Changing
1. Disconnect and lockout power to the saw!
2. Remove the rip and miter fences if installed and
loosen the 4 mounting bolts and remove the front
fence rail.
3. Open the upper and lower doors.
4. Loosen the tension on the blade tension hand
wheel (A).
5. Route the blade out of the saw through the blade
slots located around the saw path.
6. Select and install the new blade. The teeth of the
blade should be facing the front of the machine and
pointed downward.
7. Install the front fence rail.
8. Turn the hand wheel (A) clockwise (cw) to tighten
the saw blade. Give the saw blade 6.0 lbs. (3kg)
side pressure which should yield about .31” (8mm)
of blade deflection. This amount of tension to the
saw blade would be considered moderate.
Alignment
1. Roll the upper saw blade with (glove protected hand) and adjust the running track of the saw
blade in the blade guide. Turn tracking adjustment handle (B) on the back of the upper saw
wheel housing to center the saw blade in the guide. Tighten the nut of the handle.
SETTING THE CUTTING HEIGHT
1. The upper blade guide should always be set as close as practical against the piece part. To
adjust, loosen the wing nut (C) at the side of the upper wheel housing, and turn the hand
wheel (D) to set the blade guide to the required height.
2. Tighten the wing nut after setting.
WARNING:
ALWAYS disconnect power to the machine before changing
blade or working on it for any reason.
