Firmware Update (Option)
Optionally, a firmware update can be performed. The update can be per-
formed locally (e.g. via RS232/RS485) or via radio (LTE/UMTS/GPRS).
Local: When doing a firmware update via the local interface it is advisable to re-
move or disable the SIM-Card in the modem.
Radio: When doing a firmware update remotely via radio connection the data for-
mat must be set to 8N1 (set option “Read”, see picture below):
Note: For TCP/IP connections (server mode) via Internet, the IP address and
TCP port can be specified instead of the telephone number, e.g.:
IP10.0.127.22:1234

”: link to the remote modem (waiting time a
few seconds, depending upon the network connection).
