OPERATION

DETECTION RANGE

When the vehicle is shifted into reverse, the system will activate. The monitor will illuminate  and
the  buzzer  will sound  off  to let  you  know the  system  is  active.  The  buzzer will  not  sound again
until the sensors pick up any objects or people that come into the detection  range.

The maximum  detection  range  of the  CA-5030  system  is over  8  feet  behind  the  vehicle

and the closer the object is to the vehicle, the  more warnings the system  will give to the
driver.

(See FIGURE 12)

As the object comes closer to the sensors, the system will alert the driver  using  different

audible  tones  and  distance  display  readings  which  will  increase  to  tell  the  driver  the
object is coming closer and to be cautious.

(See FIGURE 13)

NOTE:

Certain  weather  elements,  road  conditions  and  other  electrical  equipment  in  or  around

the vehicle may affect the system’s operation. Please see the troubleshooting section for details.
