INSTALLATION

INSTALLING THE CAMERA

1.

The  rear  view  CMOS  camera  uses  a  170°  wide-angle  lens  for  best  all  around
performance.  The Camera will display the full width of most parking spaces up to 7 feet
or even wider.

2.

The  camera  is  designed  to  be  flush  mounted  on  vehicle’s  surface.  It  can  be  mounted
anywhere  on  the  vehicle  that  has  a  flat  surface.  Double  check  behind  the  surface  of
where you will be mounting the camera to make sure that there is adequate space for the
camera to be placed in the decided location.

3.

Use  the  provided  Hole  Saw  bit  to  drill  the  hole  in  the  location  you  have  chosen  for
mounting the camera.

(See FIGURE 5)

WARNING

:  When  drilling  the  hole,  be  careful  not  to  use  excessive  force  when  pushing

on  the  drill  as  the  bit  may  break  through  the  surface  quickly  and  puncture
anything behind it resulting in damage to any  modules or OEM parts behind
the mounting location.

4.

Once  the  hole  has  been  drilled,  route  the  RCA  and  Power  cables  through  the  hole  and
snap the camera into place. The steel lock tabs will hold the camera tight to the mounting
surface.

(See FIGURE 5)
