Warning! Select the location of the monitor in such a way that the
passengers cannot be hurt under any circumstances (by hard-
braking, traffic accident).
Do not assemble the monitor within the head impact range.
The monitor may not hinder the view at any time during the drive (see
✎
F 1).
General installation instructions!
Please observe the following points before attaching the monitor:
– Screw the monitor holder onto the monitor.
– Locate the monitor with the attached holder on a trial basis.
– Consider with the selection of the location that you have an unhindered
view of the monitor (see
✎
F 2 and F 3).
– The assembly location should be even.
– Check before the final assembly whether the necessary free space is
available, also below the assembly place chosen for the attachment of
discs and nuts.
– Consider the weight of the monitor. Are reinforcements (larger
washers or plates) necessary?
– Is the installation of the connecting cable set and extension cable
to the monitor possible?
You can begin with the assembly if all points have been considered.
Pay attention when locating the monitor that this is not assembled within
the radius of an AIRBAG. Otherwise danger of injury exists when it is
being released.
Pay attention to a possibly large contact area between monitor holder and
assembly ground
◆
Draw the contours of the edges of the monitor holder onto the
instrument panel.
◆
Unscrew the monitor holder from the monitor.
◆
Hold the monitor holder within the previously drawn
