7.2.2 Secure child in child car seat
7.2.2.1 Release shoulder belt by pressing adjuster button with one hand and pull
shoulder belt with another hand until shoulder belt can’t be pulled. (fig. 32)
7.2.2.2 Open buckle by pressing button of buckle and let two tongues out. (fig. 10)
7.2.2.3 Place child in child car seat. (fig. 33)
7.2.2.4 Adjust headrest by pulling headrest adjust lever upward to the position that
fits your child. (fig. 12)
WARNING!
Adjust shoulder pads height slightly higher than child shoulders when child car
seat is used forward facing and use adult index finger as reference. (fig. 12B)
7.2.2.5 Get child arms through shoulder pads, guide two buckle latches together
and engage into buckle until you hear a clear „click”. (fig. 34)
7.2.2.6 Pull adjust belt to tighten shoulder belt. (fig. 35)
7.3 Install child car seat with 3 point safety belt
7.3.1 Install child car seat
7.3.1.1 Place child car seat facing forward. (fig. 28)
7.3.1.2 Guide diagonal belt section of 3 point safety belt through diagonal belt
guide. Let lap belt section through lap belt guide. Insert buckle tongue into vehicle
buckle until you hear a clear „click”. (fig. 36)
7.3.1.3 Push child car seat in order to fit vehicle seat closely. Press child car seat with
adult body weight and take back excess belt to fix the car seat firmly. (fig. 37)
