• Ensure hair is dry and combed through.
• Plug the appliance into a suitable mains socket, the ‘on’ indicator
light will illuminate red.
• Press the “I” button and both the red and green lights will fl ash, when
the appliance has reached optimum temperature the indicator lights
will stop fl ashing and will remain green.
• Select the required heat setting using the temperature dial. If you
have delicate, fi ne or coloured hair, use the lower heat settings. For
thicker hair, use the higher heat settings.
• Separate a 5cm (maximum) section of hair.
• Place the section of hair between the crimping plates
• Hold the hair fi rmly between the plates for about 5 seconds.
• Release that section of hair and re-position the crimper so that the
next crimp falls in line with the fi rst.
• Always work from the root towards the end of the hair.
• Repeat as necessary.
• After use switch off and unplug the appliance. Allow to cool before
storing away.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
To help keep your crimper in the best possible condition, clean the
plates on a regular basis.
Please follow the steps below:
• Make sure the appliance has been unplugged and is cool.
• Clean the ceramic plates by wiping with a damp cloth. Make sure
that no water enters the crimper and the crimper is completely dry
before re-use.
