3-Thread Wave Stitch
1. Turn the Wave/Overlock Selector lever from “OVERLOCK” to “WAVE”.
2 . C ut t h e t h read s f rom t h e t h read c ones , rais e pres s er f oot and rem ov e t h read s f rom t h e t h read pat h s .
3. Engage the threading lever to threading position. (page 17)
4 . P lac e t h e rig h t need le t h read c one on t h e s ec ond s pool pin on lef t .
5. Slip the right needle thread into the telescopic thread guide directly above the thread. Follow the left
need le t h read ing pat h d ow n t o t h e rig h t need le.
6 . T h read t h e rig h t need le us ing t h e need le t h read er. ( pag e 2 0 )
7 . P lac e t h e upper looper t h read c one on t h e s ec ond f rom rig h t s pool pin.
8. Slip the upper looper thread into the telescopic thread guide directly above the thread. Follow the top
t h read ing pat h f or t h e rig h t need le t h read , d ow n t h e f ront t h read ing pat h , t h roug h t h e c h rom e t h read
guide, and directly to the “U” threading port for the upper looper. Thread the upper looper. (page 18)
9 . P lac e t h e rig h t need le t h read and upper looper t h read und er t h e pres s er f oot and t o t h e b ac k .
10.Place the lower looper thread cone on the first spool pin on right.
11. Thread lower looper using the standard lower looper threading technique. (page17)
12.Engage the threading lever to serging position.
13.Set Stitch Selector on “B” for Wave Stitch.
14.Set Stitch Length and Stitch Width following the illustration below.
