Will my Baby K’tan shrink?
We use the highest quality pre-washed and
pre-shrunk cotton knit fabrics in our manufactur-
ing process. Nevertheless, the Baby K’tan cotton
carrier will still shrink a little in the wash and drying
process at home, but you can stretch the carrier
back out again by following the instructions on
our website. To minimize shrinkage when washed,
either let your carrier hang dry entirely, or partial-
ly machine-dry it for 15 – 20 minutes and then let
it hang dry. While hang-drying, you can also
stretch the fabric periodically if desired.
How do I tell if my Baby K’tan is too tight,
too loose or if my position is correct?
The Baby K’tan is meant to fit snugly to
allow for stretch and will likely feel tighter
than expected initially. However, this does
not necessarily mean it is too small. If you
have questions about fit & positioning,
contact the K’tan Care Team and
schedule a 1on1 video fit check. One of
our K’tan Care Specialists will guide you
on fit and correct positioning
. To speak
with a Baby K’tan care specialist, contact

Can my partner and I share the same size?
The Baby K’tan should be sized to its owner as if it were any other item of personal
clothing. It is meant to be fitted, like a snug t-shirt. Two people can share the infant
baby carrier if they are the same size. However, if different sizes are needed, each
person should purchase their own size.
