For Attention

Only the person who originally purchased this product can make a claim on the

warranty.  No registration is required.  This warranty will grant you specific legal rights

which can vary from country to country.  The Protanium battery (24 volt, 10 Ah) comes

with six (6) months free replacement warranty.  Bar exceptions, Babboe / Protanium

will, based on its own judgement, replace or repair any part of a battery during the

six (6) months after the date of purchase, if investigation shows that the materials or

production of the battery was faulty.  Registration is not required to be eligible for

warranty on a Protanium battery. (This is repeated)  If you want to make a claim on

this warranty, please email us on [email protected].

YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF REPAIR AND/OR REPLACEMENT AS DESCRIBED IN THIS

DOCUMENT IS A PRE-CONDITION FOR THE CONTRACT THAT IS ENTERED WHEN

PURCHASING THE BABBOE / PROTANIUM PRODUCT. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES IS

BABBOE / PROTANIUM or WHEEL HAPPY LTD LIABLE FOR ANY ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE,

SPECIAL DAMAGE, RESULTING DAMAGE OR PENALTIES OR FOR ANY COSTS,

COMPENSATIONS, LEGAL ASSISTANCE, EXPENSES, LOSSES OR DELAYS CAUSED BY

DAMAGE, INTERRUPTIONS OR DEFECTS TO ANY PRODUCT, INCLUDING BUT NOT

LIMITED TO CLAIMS RELATED TO LOSS OF PROFITS. THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE

AND OVERRIDES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS, WRITTEN OR ORAL,

EXPLICIT OR IMPLICIT.  

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

1) The Babboe / Protanium battery has been designed for transportation of people

     and recreational use of a Babboe / Protanium electrical (family) bike.  The battery

     has not been designed for improper use such as stunts and jumps.  The warranty is

     no longer valid, if the bicycle is used as a rental bike, if it is sold or donated, if more

     than one person is riding the bike and, if the bicycle is used for stunts and jumps. 

2) The warranty is no longer valid if Babboe / Protanium discovers damage that has

     been caused by repairs done by someone else than a bicycle mechanic or repair

     shop authorised by Babboe / Protanium, or if Babboe / Protanium discovers

     damage caused by abuse, alterations, improper use, regular wear and tear,

     insufficient maintenance or an accident.

3) The customer is at all times responsible for correct installation of the battery and

     proper maintenance of the bicycle. This warranty is no longer valid if damage is

     caused by incorrect installation of the battery or incorrect use of the battery

     or charger.

4) Specifications can be altered without the need for prior warning.
